Welcome to The Lizards Lair Gaming Co, Crewe’s friendly local WPN Magic: The Gathering store. Whether you are a brand-new player learning your first spell, a seasoned Planeswalker with several decks in your bag, or someone who just enjoys the beautiful chaos of cardboard-based emotional damage, you are welcome at The Lair.
We host regular Magic: The Gathering events in Crewe every week, with organised play on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, plus casual games available throughout the week whenever tables are free.

Thursday Night Magic
Thursday evenings are a great time for casual Magic at The Lair. Bring your Commander deck, test out something new, meet other players and enjoy a relaxed evening of games.
Perfect for casual play, Commander pods and trying out new cards before they inevitably betray you.
Friday Night Magic
Friday is one of our main Magic: The Gathering nights in Crewe, with regular games, friendly players and a great community atmosphere.
Whether you are here for Commander, Standard, Pauper or another format, Friday Night Magic at The Lair is a brilliant way to end the week.
Saturday Magic
Saturday is another fantastic day for Magic at The Lair, with space for casual play, new-player games, Commander, Standard and more.
It is a great day to bring friends, build decks, trade ideas and pretend your mana base is definitely fine.
Casual Magic All Week
You do not have to wait for an event night to play Magic at The Lair. We have gaming tables available throughout the week, making us a great place for casual Magic: The Gathering games in Crewe.

You do not need to know every rule.
You do not need a tournament-ready deck.
