You can bring your own game, join in with one of our featured games, try something from the shop collection, or take your chances with a mystery game selected by James and Steph.
What Happens on Monday Board Game Night?
Monday Night Board Games is a relaxed, friendly evening where players can meet up, learn new games, and enjoy a proper community gaming night.
Each week may include:
- Featured board games chosen for the night
- Games from The Lair’s shop game collection
- Beginner-friendly games for new players
- Family-friendly games
- Strategy games for those who enjoy overthinking everything
- Party games for maximum chaos

You do not need to know how to play before you arrive. James, Steph, and the lovely Lair community can help explain rules, get you seated, and make sure you are not left staring at a pile of tokens wondering which one is secretly important.

Each Monday, we may highlight selected featured games for people to learn, try, or revisit.
Featured games are a great way to discover something new without needing to buy the game first, read the rulebook alone, or convince your family that “it only takes 20 minutes” when the box clearly says 90.
