We are building a friendly, inclusive tabletop gaming space in Crewe for new players, returning hobbyists, casual commanders, competitive generals, and anyone who just wants somewhere decent to roll dice without having to clear the dining table first.

We have 6×4 gaming tables available to use in store, perfect for wargaming, campaign games, demo games and big tabletop battles.
Even better? Our tables are free to use.
No table hire. No awkward minimum spend. No “please purchase the ancient scroll of permission from behind the counter.”

Terrain Available to Use
A good tabletop game deserves more than two books and a suspiciously square hill.
We have terrain available to use in store, helping you build proper battlefields for your games. Whether you need ruins, cover, scenery, line-of-sight blocking pieces, or just something dramatic for your tiny plastic heroes to stand on, we have terrain ready for players to use.
Hobby Supplies, Tools & In-Store Support
The Lair is not just a place to play. It is a place to build, paint, improve, accidentally start another army, and tell yourself this one is definitely the last project.
We stock an ever-growing range of hobby supplies, including paints, brushes, tools, basing materials, primers, glues and gaming essentials. We are always investing in new ranges, new games and new hobby support so our tabletop community has more choice in store.
We also have airbrushes and other tools available to use in store, making it easier to get your models built, painted and table-ready without needing to buy every tool straight away.
Great for beginners. Dangerous for people who said they were “just browsing.”

You do not need a fully painted army, encyclopaedic rules knowledge, or the confidence of someone who has watched 900 hours of battle reports.
You just need an interest in tabletop gaming and a willingness to get involved.
We welcome beginners, casual players, veterans, hobbyists, collectors, painters and people who are still trying to work out which glue is the safe one. Our community is here to help, not gatekeep.
