We run regular Pok\u00e9mon sessions every week, with casual games, friendly advice, deck building help, and Pok\u00e9mon Professors on hand to support new and experienced players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No scary gatekeeping. No need to know every rule. No need to have the \u201cperfect\u201d deck. Just bring yourself, your cards if you have them, and a willingness to learn. The dice may betray you, but we will not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every Tuesday from 6:30pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Join us every Tuesday evening for Pok\u00e9mon battles, casual games, trading, deck testing and general card-based chaos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tuesday nights are ideal for players who already know the basics, anyone wanting to improve their deck, or beginners who want to watch, learn and ask questions in a relaxed environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Every Friday from 6:30pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Start the weekend properly with Pok\u00e9mon at The Lair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Friday Pok\u00e9mon is perfect for friendly matches, improving your game, meeting other local Pok\u00e9mon players, and getting help with your deck before it is sent into battle like a tiny cardboard army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Whether you are playing for fun, practising for events, or just want an excuse to escape the house and shuffle cards dramatically, you are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Every Saturday from 2pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Our Trading Card Academy is designed for new players, younger players, families, and anyone who wants to learn how trading card games work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Come and learn to play Pok\u00e9mon and other trading card games in a friendly, beginner-focused session. Our Pok\u00e9mon Professors are on hand to help with rules, tips, deck building suggestions, and those confusing little moments where a card says twelve things and somehow all of them matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Trading Card Academy is a great way to build confidence, meet other players, and learn the basics without feeling rushed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You do not need to be an expert to join in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At The Lizards Lair, we believe everyone should feel welcome, whether you have been playing Pok\u00e9mon for years or you have only just worked out that Pikachu is not, in fact, the name of every yellow Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our Pok\u00e9mon sessions are beginner-friendly and community-focused. We are happy to point you in the right direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Got a deck that almost works but keeps collapsing faster than a house made of booster wrappers?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our Pok\u00e9mon Professors can offer tips and suggestions to help you improve your deck. We can talk through card choices, energy balance, strategy, combos, and how to make your deck more consistent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We cannot promise every deck will become unbeatable. We can promise friendly advice, bad jokes, and a much better chance of understanding why your hand contains seven Energy and no hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Lizards Lair Gaming Co is built around community. We want our Pok\u00e9mon nights and Trading Card Academy sessions to be welcoming, relaxed and fun for all players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our store is a friendly space for children, families, beginners, collectors, casual players and hobby fans.
